L-3 Selected for Design and Development of U.S.
Air Force Telescopes
PITTSBURGH, Penn., September
22, 2008 -- L-3 Integrated
Optical Systems announced today that it has been
awarded a contract from the U.S Air Force to design
and develop two 1-meter, gimbaled telescope systems.
The telescopes will be used for experiments at the
Starfire Optical Range at Kirtland AFB, N.M.
