Cryogenic coolers provide cooling for Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR) platforms in a variety of configurations and applications. FLIRs are used on the ground, in the air, and on the water for reconnaissance, surveillance, tracking and targeting, and are a key component for developing crucial battlespace intelligence.

Linear Cooler Drive Electronics (LCDE)
The LCDE dramatically improves the performance of CE's cooler series, as well as most linear coolers on the market. It features precise temperature control over a wide ambient temperature range, high power efficiency and operational compatibility with MIL-STD-461E. Advanced on-board intelligence monitors cryocooler status and can be interrogated via a RS-422 serial communication interface aiding cooler prognosis and planned maintenance.
