Integrated Communications
L-3 CS-E has provided state of the art maritime communications solutions to the US DoD and USCG for over 50 years including support to the Aegis Cruisers and Destroyers, the Trident Class submarine fleet, the San Antonio Class (LPD) amphibious ship, the US Coast Guard National Security Cutter, the Fast Response Cutter, Royal Austrailian Navy LHD, Egypt Fast Misssle Craft and the New Zealand ANZAC. CS-E's current solutions are based on the highly advanced MarCom® Integrated Voice Communications Systems (IVCS) which provides all digital, non-blocking communications processing and automation and PBX functionality for tactical comms needs and the Keyswitch Integrated Terminal Equipment (KITE) which provides a flexible programmable user interface. Over the past 10 years, the advanced features and high degree of integration built into the core capabilities of the MarCom® and KITE products have allowed CS-E to expand into new markets which place significant operational importance on integration of numerous communications platforms. Our Symphony™ software along with our L-3's MarCom® together deliver an open architecture and radio-agnostic automated communications system that provides the clearest, most reliable communications available. Truly integrated communications significantly improves operator performance, reduces manpower and shrinks footprint by 30%. Combined, these enhancements reduce both initial and life-cycle costs. New markets for this technology include communications for other international Navies, Coast Guard Command Centers, and domestic communications interoperability for local and regional Emergency Operations Centers supporting homeland security missions.

Secure Space and Sensor Systems
Secure Space
CS-E provides critical technology that enables Communications Security (COMSEC) and Transmission Security (TRANSEC) space and ground equipment to secure the telemetry tracking and control, space mission data and communications for our nation's critical space assets. The latest encryption technology encompasses the tenets of Crypto Modern capability with flexible and adaptable ASICs, embeddable solutions and ground-based satellite control and end user equipment. In addition CS-E provides crypto key management systems. Our current equipment supports a vast array of DoD programs including SBIRS, MUOS, AEHF, and EPS. CS-E also provides flight safety critical technology for our nation's Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicles, and equipment and support for the International Space Station.

Sensor Systems
Sensor Systems encompasses militarized tactical battlefield intelligence and Force Protection systems and an Integrated Depot that supports all CS-E products.
