L-3 Datron’s facility is situated on 9 acres in Simi Valley, California. Located in Southeast Ventura County, Simi Valley is the third largest city in Ventura County. We are northwest of the San Fernando Valley, approximately 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
Access to Simi Valley and L-3 Datron is via the 118 Freeway, also known as the Ronald Reagan Freeway. The 118 Freeway is a major East-West corridor in northern Los Angeles County. As shown in the map below, the 118 Freeway provides direct access to both LAX via Interstate 405 or Burbank Airport via Interstate 5, the two major airports in the region.
Drive time to LAX can vary between 1 to 1.5 hours with remote car rental lots requiring an additional 20-30 minutes for pick up or drop off time. The trip to Burbank Airport, a smaller regional airport, generally takes 30 to 45 minutes, with rental lots conveniently located within walking distance of baggage claim.
