In the past 20 years, Datron has commissioned over thirty-five (35) 13-meter Series 1453 Antenna Systems at major government and commercial Ground Stations around the globe.  No other known supplier can match this record for delivery, reliability and continuous operation of large aperture, full motion, high dynamic antennas for tracking of LEO satellites.  Many users of the Series 1453 have upgraded their systems over the years as new satellite missions have come on-line, further extending the value of their operations.

The Series 1453 S/X-Band Autotracking System is our flagship system, and can be configured with multiple feeds and/or feed rotators uniquely designed to meet specialized missions.  Recently, the drive system and control electronics of a three (3) Series 1450 antennas, the two axis version of the 1453, where modified to accommodate a reflector in excess of 16-meters in diameter.

The Series 1453 represents over 40 years of field proven RSS/TT&C success with state-of-the-art technology to deliver a highly flexible system with improved life cycle costs.  Significant cost saving to your program is realized through the high reliability and reduced maintenance cost associated with this proven system.
