Prism™ is L-3 Display Systems’ solution to providing rugged,
trusted computing for modern adaptive avionics. Prism is comprised
of open system architecture hardware and software to create
a flexible and scalable integrated avionics management system.
With initial application on the F-35 and C-130J programs, Prism
is a low cost, low risk solution that integrates mission functions
such as digital maps, flight management, and terrain awareness
warning systems software modules. The Prism system includes
state-of-the-art partitioned processing, graphics processing
and input/output capability that is affordable and available.
