The L-3 Display Systems family of Integrated Core Processors (ICP) provides high performance, flexible data and video processing for Military Avionics applications. Based on the VITA 46 architecture, the ICP provides the ability to expand functionality without redesigning the chassis or motherboard. With the ability to configure an ICP with single or multiple system processor modules, with each system processor module exhibiting > 2900 Dhrystone MIPS, 512 Mbyte DRAM and 256 Mbyte Flash memory, our ICP provides ample processing power for customer applications and can support years of growth enhancements.
Each ICP central processor module includes a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) and ARINC 653 partitioned environment that supports true time and space separation of customer applications, allowing multiple safety-criticality and multiple security levels to be hosted on the same platform.
