| L-3 Electrodynamics SRVIVR® Family of Cockpit Voice Flight Data Recorders Receives TSO Authorization |
| ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., April 11, 2011 – L-3 Electrodynamics, Inc. (L-3 EDI) announced today that it has received Technical Standard Order (TSO) authorization from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for its SRVIVR® Cockpit Voice Flight Data Recorder (CVFDR) product family. TSO authorization certifies that the SRVIVR recorders meet the most current FAA requirements for data, voice and data link recording on civilian aircraft. |

| L-3 Electrodynamics Completes F-35 Recorder Qualification Testing |
| Rolling Meadows – April 28, 2009 —L-3 Communications Electrodynamics (EDI) announced that it has completed qualification testing for its Crash Survivable Memory Unit (CSMU) for the Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft. With this qualification milestone completed, EDI immediately moves into Low Rate Initial Production of the units, with deliveries scheduled to begin in January 2009. |

| L-3 Electrodynamics SRVIVR® Selected for Euro Hawk UAV |
| Rolling Meadows – June 1, 2009 —L-3 Communications Electrodynamics (EDI) announced today that it has supplied its SRVIVR Cockpit Voice Flight Data Recorder (CVFDR) to Northrop Grumman for integration on its RQ-4B Euro Hawk variant of the RQ-4 Global Hawk UAV. The Euro Hawk will serve as part of the German Air Force's high altitude long endurance (HALE) surveillance and reconnaissance system. |

ve Elektronik Sanayi, a high technology software and electronics
company based in Ankara, Turkey, on this important international
