ROLLING MEADOWS, ILLINOIS, USA. L-3 Communications, Electrodynamics has announced a new rear mounting LED indicator featuring an environmentally sealed body with a rubber o-ring panel seal. Contained in a compact case design, the ML 1636 is ideal for rugged environments such as off-highway equipment and rail car applications where standard grade LED packages are not adequate. Available with a choice of red, yellow or green LED's and diffused or non-diffused lens types.

Standard configured ML1636 LED indicators are supplied in a black anodized aluminum housing and comes complete with mounting hardware and a fluorocarbon rubber o-ring. A choice of straight leads or solder loops are offered. Custom options include clear chromate body substitution and an EMI screen. The indicator requires only a .315" mounting hole and is provided with straight leads or solder loops. ML 1636 is available with a choice of red, yellow or green LED's and diffused or non-diffused lens types. Custom LED colors available upon request.

Viewing angle is 120 degrees. Luminous intensity at 5 VDC is 8.0 mcd, typical. Peak wave length at 20mA is 590-625 depending on LED color.

ML1636 LED indicators are made to order with typical delivery time of 8 weeks from receipt of an order.
