InfraredVision Technology Corporation features uncooled focal plane arrays manufactured in our class 100/1000 cleanroom facility using state of the art VOx microbolometer technology. ITC targets IR-camera manufacturers for commercial applications. Product design took into consideration the customer's desire to go to smaller, less expensive optical systems and the potential for overall size and weight reduction of IR-cameras by implementing a reduced pixel size. ITC can accomodate custom designs for special format microbolometers that may be required by camera manufacturers for specific applications.
The first product of ITC is a 320x240 microbolometer with a pixel size of 37.5 micron. Besides the advantages of a small pixel size, the ITC-1000 series detector offers additional features for added flexibility and performance: on-chip NonUniformity Correction (NUC), variable on-chip gain, variable integration time, and a differential output option. ITC also offers a “radiometric” version (ITC-1100) with an integrated f/1.0 radiation shield. See figure to the left.
Detectors are currently available in prototype quantities for camera integration as well as for bulk shipments of production quantities.
