OSSIM Mapping Archive (OMAR)

OMAR is a multi-INT data archive and retrieval service used for the exploitation of multi-INT data. Linkabit is deploying advanced geospatial-mapping solutions in critical national systems. OMAR is one such software system for data retrieval and product generation. Based on open standards, open source software and services-based architectures, Linkabit's geospatial systems are providing collaborative technology development and advanced capabilities to a wide range of users. Linkabit's open systems architectures are robust solutions that can be easily upgraded over time. Linkabit deploys and supports geospatial systems based on W3C and OGC specifications. Learn More
Open Source Software Image Map (OSSIM)

Open Source Software Image Map

OSSIM is an advanced, high-performance image processing library used for the creation and exploitation of multi-INT data. Linkabit is deploying advanced geospatial mapping solutions in critical national systems. OSSIM is one such software system for remote sensing, image processing photogrammetry and mapping.  Based on open standards, open-source software and services-based architectures, Linkabit's geospatial systems are providing collaborative technology development and advanced capabilities to a wide range of users. Open systems architectures are robust solutions that can be easily upgraded over time. Linkabit deploys and supports geospatial systems based on W3C and OGC specifications. Learn More
Multi-INT Visualization Environment (MIVE)

MIVE is a set of services used for the exploitation of multi-INT data sources. Linkabit is deploying advanced geospatial mapping solutions in critical national systems. MIVE is one such software system for exploitation and product generation.  Based on open standards, open-source software and services-based architectures, Linkabit's geospatial systems are providing collaborative technology development and advanced capabilities to a wide range of users. Target-Based Photogrammetric Visibility Assessment Using the Image Screening Service (ISS)

Visibility Assessment Using the Image Screening Service

The Image Screening Service (ISS) demonstrates the concept of target-focused visibility assessment based on effective use of imagery metadata. The objectives of the ISS are to maximize imagery utilization, even under high cloud cover conditions, while minimizing the need to retrieve and view every image covering a target of interest. The ISS is comprised of the web-based Screening Client Subsystem that allows web browser access from a variety of platforms, and the Linux-based Screening Service Subsystem that provides the necessary geospatial processing and database support. Linkabit's value-added processing is incorporated in the Visibility Assessment Operation (VAO) component. This component receives a desired region of assessment, defined by a client-selected feature set, and geometrically compares its image-space projection to cloud cover metadata associated with the image, yielding a visibility estimate for the region.
