L-3 MarPro’s
marine installations are typically cabled undersea sensor
systems or “short-haul” un-repeatered telecommunication
systems deployed from Ships-of-Opportunity using various
means of cable protection and shore landing methods.
L-3 MariPro
has developed a system of modular cable deployment equipment
which can be trucked or shipped to a port anywhere in the
world that is in close proximity to the installation location. This
method enables a local vessel-of-opportunity with a local crew
to be converted into a cable laying vessel generally within
3 to 4 days. |
