L-3 Nautronix develops sophisticated solutions for
the Defence and marine environments. The
company specialises in underwater detection,
through-water communications, navigation, target
and sensor monitoring and GIS.
EarthVTS (Vessel Tracking System) is a solution
for vessel monitoring in both the near and offshore
environments. The system provides situational
awareness with real time tracking of targets and
the display of target attributes. EarthVTS displays
a three dimensional view of the spatial domain
allowing users to display multiple layers of
information in relation to the targets being
tracked.
EarthVTS is suitable for Long Range
Identification and Tracking (LRIT) and is ideal for
applications such as Customs and Border Patrol,
and Harbour Management.
