Compensation
L-3 TW’s compensation philosophy is based on individual employee performance as well as current market trends. Salaries are reviewed annually to provide a fair and equitable structure for pay by using salary surveys related to our industry and geographical location. We also offer cash bonuses based on profitability as well as an Employee Referral Program. Our Employee Stock Purchase Plan provides our employees’ the opportunity to purchase L-3 Common Stock at a discounted price.
Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision and prescription drug coverage for employees and their dependents. Our defined 401(k) plan features an employer matching contribution. Paid vacation, sick time and holidays are available to all eligible employees. Life, AD&D, Short-Term/Long-Term Disability, and other voluntary insurance plans are also available.
Work-Life
L-3 TW offers employees a unique work-life balance. Along with our 9/80 work schedule with alternating Fridays off, we offer flexible schedules and flex time when permitted. We care about our employees’ well-being by offering an Employee Assistance Program, an on-site fitness facility, smoking cessation assistance and other wellness initiatives. Our Recreation Club strives to create a fun work environment and both employees and the company give back to the community through charitable donations. We also offer discounted tickets to movie theaters as well as other local attractions.
Performance & Recognition
Performance is reviewed annually by managers and supervisors. At this time, goals are set, areas for improvement are discussed and development plans are created. We also offer recognition awards for those who go above and beyond their typical job duties. Service awards are given for the landmark anniversaries (5 year increments). To recognize our employees for their effort and dedication, there is typically an annual employee appreciation lunch.
Career Development
L-3 TW advocates and encourages employee development. We give preference to internal candidates and promote from within our organization whenever possible. For those who wish to further their formal education, we offer a tuition assistance program and provide access to e-learning courses. On-site training classes are made available throughout the year as well.
