Experience and Skill: Low Risk Solutions
For over 25 years, Sonoma has been leveraging our continuously improving and expanding library of advanced and proven technologies and processes to design, build, test, deliver and support custom turret systems.
Our extensive technical staff is highly educated, experienced and broadly skilled. Using the latest and most advanced system engineering and design simulation tools, our staff offers the technical breadth and depth necessary to work with you in rapidly iterating our standard system modules into an optimum and unique, low risk and cost effective turret system solution.
Our optical engineering staff can help you select, model and develop your unique optical solution, or mix and match our existing designs with your proprietary design as a way to minimize risk and cost while maximizing the performance of the optimum sensor system.
From program definition through post delivery support, Sonoma has developed a process that minimizes cost, schedule and technical risk. For example, in order to minimize schedule risk through the mitigation of turret issues, we conduct environmental and performance testing with our extensive test facilities on the turret alone before sensor system integration.
Sonoma has worked with all of the DOD labs and agencies, several universities and many different large and small contractors on numerous science and technology programs to rapidly prove out new sensor capabilities and concepts, leading to the deployment of production quantities for deployment.
We have built hundreds of turret systems of different configurations, many of which started as successful custom designs that became production quantity systems.
The Only Choice for Emerging Missions: L3 Sonoma EO Custom Turret Systems
Whether for persistent surveillance, ISR, IED mitigation or other emerging missions, Sonoma is the choice for high stabilization, accurate geo-pointing, and rapid development of uniquely configured turreted systems. |
