WATCHTOWER SENTINEL
MEWS

SENTINEL is a state-of-the-art hardware platform providing Direction-Finding and spectral monitoring from 2MHz to 3GHz. The equipment is battery-powered and rugged, yet still light-weight, making it ideally suited to man-portable applications. Its performance makes the equipment useful in compact vehicle-mounted applications. The system is comprised of three main components which can fit into a backpack or can easily be separated and carried by a 2-man team:

  • A highly integrated DF antenna array packaged in a portable radome
  • A compact Processing Unit with the latest generation receiver and signal processing hardware
  • Radio Controlled IED Countermeasure

Ruggedized laptop PC with software to provide intuitive Graphical User Interface (GUI) display and data storage.

FORTRESS Force Protection Suite (FPS)

Our solution features a software-based radio architecture which ensures the ability to re-program the equipment in response to emerging threats in a dynamic environment. Upgrades, new mission parameters and waveforms can be loaded quickly in the field using the simple and user-friendly Mission Editor software. Training courses can be provided for users (1 or 2 days), maintainers (1 week), and wave form development (1 or 2 weeks) We provide off-the-shelf solutions, however, our software-based architecture allows user flexibility to cater to the unique protection requirements to meet individual missions.
