linkTEK™ IDS

linkTEK™ information dissimination system (IDS) performs IP (UDP/IP) over RF BLOS, LOS, and wired communications, enabling multi-node networks sharing information, and video.

linkTEK supports data communication over BLOS interfaces including the Inmarsat satellite communication (SATCOM) network.

linkTEK is equipped with an embedded Wi-Fi (802.11) line-of-sight (LOS) communication capability for close range high rate data dissemination. linkTEK IDS supports 3rd party LOS radios that can be enabled by simple in-field configuration update.

linkTEK is equipped with an embedded JPEG 2000 video compression system for standard NTSC/PAL video signals. A corresponding JPEG 2000 viewer application is provided that can be hosted on most COTS computers or smaller COTS PDA devices.

linkTEK data link system offers a radio agnostic multi–layered communications software package that enables multi-vehicle IP–based messaging (UDP/IP) network.

linkTEK comes equipped with 802.11 b/g line–of–sight (LOS) communications capability that provides for optional external signal amplification.

linkTEK enables data broadcast to multiple IP addresses in many different network topologies.

linkTEK comes equipped with four serial communication ports. These communication ports may be used for other LOS serial modems or other serial driven devices.

linkTEK comes optionally equipped with an internal JPEG 2000 video capture and compression capability that enables to transmit digital video over the 802.11b LOS link or optional BLOS link.

linkTEK permits data routing to multiple receiving stations.
